Zadar to Sydney
It began with family.
Croatian Jewellery was born from something far deeper than jewellery.
Our story traces back to Zadar, Croatia, where our family’s roots run deep. Years ago, our Baka left Croatia by boat for Sydney in search of a better life, carrying with her the strength, resilience and determination that so many Croatian families know well.
She came to Australia wanting something different for the generations that would follow her.
Our Baka
For twenty years, our Baka worked in a factory without missing a single day of work.
She didn’t do it for recognition.
She did it so her children and grandchildren wouldn’t have to live through the same hardships she had experienced.
Every early morning, every long shift and every sacrifice was about building something that her family could one day stand upon.

What she passed down
That mentality became part of our family.
Those values are at the heart of Croatian Jewellery today.

Croatian identity
Distance never removed our connection.
Like many Croatian families around the world, the language, traditions, faith, family, villages, cities, football and unmistakable red-and-white checkers continued to remind us of where we came from.
Croatia is a small nation, but Croatian people have never allowed our size to define what we are capable of.
There is a determination within our people to survive, to work, to create and to rise. Wherever Croatians have travelled in the world, that spirit has travelled with them.
Why Croatian Jewellery exists
The next generation builds upon what came before it.
Croatian Jewellery was built with that same philosophy.
What began through creativity, design and a love of craftsmanship became an opportunity to build something meaningful — not only for our own family, but for the Croatian community that has supported us.
Just as the generation before us worked to create opportunities we were fortunate enough to inherit, our ambition is to continue building for the generations that come after us.
To create a stronger future for our families. To create opportunities within our community. And to build something Croatian that can stand proudly on the world stage.
